Nicholas Naughton is a contemporary printmaker and podcaster. Born in Dubuque, Iowa, Naughton went on to study printmaking and graduate from the University of Iowa. He then went on to get a masters in art at New Mexico State University.

After completing his studies, Naughton spent 4 months traveling in India and Nepal before settling in Kansas City, Missouri for about 10 years. Initially upon moving to Kansas City Naughton ran a non-profit print studio, before launching his personal shop La Cucaracha Press. He did custom screen printing, letterpress and design for about 8 years under that identity. All throughout his time in Kansas City, Naughton also taught as an adjunct professor at The Kansas City Art Institute teaching courses in printmaking, story telling, drawing, and graphic design.

In 2018 Naughton closed his print shop and moved to sunny Los Angeles, California where he runs a podcast about printmaking called The Print Cast. In 2019 he landed work as a book binder, foil printer and finisher at Paper Chase Press in Hollywood. Naughton lives near LACMA, shares his home with a partner and an 18 year old cat who pretty much runs things.
