After exploring florals in my studio for the past two years, I’ve been whittling down the information that I feel is necessary in my compositions. What can be excluded? What is needed? My latest pieces offer minimal information that I feel conveys the color and forms of blossoms as you might encounter out in the world. My colors are a palette I have arrived at over much evolution and together it all becomes a cohesive statement about fleeting beauty and color and form.
